Milestones & Growth
R.M. Sukhatanakar completed his Engineering education, laying the technical foundation for future entrepreneurial ventures.
R.M. Sukhatanakar gained valuable industry experience while working with Larsen & Toubro Ltd., building strong technical and operational expertise.
Started the first Thermoset Moulding unit in Mumbai, marking the beginning of The Amod Group’s manufacturing journey.
Established a Thermoset Moulding unit in Ahmednagar to expand manufacturing capacity.
Further expanded Thermoset Moulding operations with a new unit in Nasik.
Entered Switchgear product manufacturing for Larsen & Toubro, strengthening strategic business partnerships.
Chinmay Sukhatanakar joined the family business, bringing new vision and leadership.
Started the second Thermoset Moulding unit in Ahmednagar. All units achieved ISO certification, ensuring quality standards.
Diversified operations into Press Component manufacturing.
Launched the second Thermoset Moulding unit in Nasik to increase production capabilities.
Diversified into manufacturing Turned Non-Ferrous Components.
Strengthened switchgear manufacturing operations for Larsen & Toubro.
Acquired 20,000 sq. ft. space in Ahmednagar for establishing the third unit, covering all facilities except moulding.
Inaugurated the new unit in April and started manufacturing Turned Ferrous Components.
Diversified into a Conventional Tool Maintenance facility to enhance in-house capabilities.
Shifted and consolidated all business activities to Ahmednagar for operational efficiency.
Expanded the tool room with CNC facilities and design applications. Initiated the LEAN culture transformation.
Invested in IT and ERP systems, introduced structured job-skill training programs, and began participation in international trade fairs.
Expanded floor space by 12,000 sq. ft. for switchgear product assemblies.
Started participating in exhibitions and competitions, expanded the press shop and tool room, and consistently added 4–5 machines and one new customer annually.
Added a new unit and consolidated two facilities into one location to support future Thermoset Moulding expansion.
Initiated discussions for a Joint Venture in raw materials and began planning structured CSR initiatives.
Invested in a permanent CSR project and signed a Joint Venture with Lorenz Kunststofftechnik, Germany, for PAN India raw material marketing. Jointly participated in PLASTINDIA.
Crystallized plans to diversify into product manufacturing and initiated R&D. Invested in solar power for self-consumption.
Invested in marketing, tooling, and infrastructure for product launch. Installed the first plastic injection machine and implemented SAP for inventory management.
